         Wildfish - Opened its second location in the center of downtown Deerfield in February of 2007. Wildfish is a contemporary sushi and grill restaurant that delivers fine dining at its best leaving you with an experience that will have you coming back for more.
    As you enter through the doors, the contemporary décor and the upbeat music sets the lively ambiance of the place. Once you’re seated, the exploration begins as you peruse through the pages of the abounding drink and food list. The drink menu includes tasty and aromatic cold and hot herbal teas, smooth American and Japanese beers, rich red and white wines, and signature martinis which are great complements with our sushi and entrees. We also feature some of Japan’s finest sakes such as our Sake Flight which consists of Kura No Hana, Shusen, and Oka.
 
   
   
 
     For starters, there are great taste portion appetizers that you can try while chatting and waiting for the main course. If you want something fresh, try our Sunomono and if you want something tasty try our Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab. Our main menu features a wide selection of the freshest sushi and flavorful specialty rolls. The Supreme, which is a combination of sushi, sashimi, and caterpillar (specialty roll), will not only fill your stomach but your mouth will be filled with an explosion of taste. If you’re intimidated by raw fish, have no fear because we have an exquisite entrée such as our outstanding Sea Bass. We also have cooked items in our specialty rolls such as our famous Special Spicy Tuna. It doesn’t end there… we also have a delicious dessert menu with divine treats to end the meal with. If the beautiful presentation doesn’t catch your eye, we’ll let our fish, which are specially ordered from overseas, catch the attention of your taste buds.
   
   
   
 
    Executive chef, Hide Sekimoto, has been a sushi man for 20 years. Cultural influences and a culinary passion have motivated him to pursue a career as a sushi chef. His training in Tokyo, Japan has allowed him to capture the essence of Japanese culture, which is displayed in the artful presentation of his creative dishes. He has accumulated many years of experience by working as a sushi chef in California, Minnesota, and Chicago. He personally orders the fish from overseas to deliver the freshest and tastiest for our customers. Sekimoto delivers his best through his expert knowledge of sushi and by making it his personal goal to create satisfactory dishes for each of his customers.
